Decision intelligence, built by people who got tired of paying for mediocre fills
Veldenhove started as an internal tool for a small group of systematic traders who wanted clearer signals and fewer silent costs. It has since grown into a platform, but the starting question hasn't changed: what does a trader actually need to see, and what is just noise dressed up as insight?
Get started
From a shared frustration to a dedicated platform
The earliest version of Veldenhove wasn't built to be sold. It was a set of internal scripts used to flag execution costs that standard broker statements didn't make obvious — spread drift, latency penalties, and fee structures that quietly ate into strategy performance over time.
As more traders asked to use the same tools, it became clear the underlying problem was common: most platforms are built to generate activity, not to protect the trader's edge. Veldenhove was formed around the opposite premise — that the platform should be judged by how much it preserves, not how much it attracts.
That premise still shapes every decision we make about what to build next, and what to leave out.
A short list of principles we don't trade away
Transparency over polish
We would rather show a trader an uncomfortable number than hide it behind a cleaner-looking summary screen.
Cost discipline
Execution costs compound quietly. We treat minimizing them as a core product responsibility, not a marketing line.
Alignment with the trader
Our incentives are built to track long-term account health, not short-term trading volume.
Restraint in what we build
Every feature has to justify its place. We'd rather ship fewer things that hold up under real trading conditions.
Organized around three disciplines
Veldenhove is built by a small, focused group split across three areas of responsibility. We keep the structure simple on purpose — fewer handoffs mean fewer places for a trader's problem to get lost.
Develops and stress-tests the models behind signal generation, with an ongoing focus on execution realism rather than backtest aesthetics.
Builds and maintains the systems traders interact with directly — from order routing logic to the interfaces that surface cost data.
Handles onboarding, account support, and the day-to-day questions that come from using the platform under live market conditions.
